ORANGE PARK, Fla. — The Clay County Sheriff’s Workplace (CCSO) took to Fb on Friday to share particulars of a visitors cease turned drug arrest from fourth of July weekend.
On Thursday, July 1, CCSO say members of their Activity Power stopped a automotive on Wells Highway for an expired tag. Throughout the visitors cease, K9′s alerted deputies to medication contained in the car.
80 grams of methamphetamine had been discovered.
Data discovered in that investigation led deputies to consider one other suspect was promoting medication out of an Orange Park resort room.
On Friday the CCSO say deputies arrested the individual believed to be promoting medication from the resort positioned on Wells Highway.
Investigators recovered 180 grams of meth and two weapons within the suspect’s car.
The Sheriff’s Workplace say the person is a five-time felon.
He has been charged him with possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of trafficking quantities of methamphetamine, based on CCSO.
